IBM has launched IBM Digital Asset Haven, a platform designed to provide banks, governments, and regulated institutions with tools for managing tokenized assets. The SaaS and hybrid SaaS offering is slated for release in Q4 2025, with an on-premises version following in Q2 2026. The platform integrates custody, governance, and transaction lifecycle controls tailored for large-scale institutional use.

Developed in collaboration with Dfns, a digital wallet infrastructure provider, the system supports over 40 public and private blockchains. It includes APIs and SDKs for seamless integration with existing institutional frameworks. Security features leverage hardware modules like IBM Z's crypto Express 8S, multi-party computation (MPC), and cold-storage signing protocols.

The offering positions itself as a bridge between traditional finance and blockchain, emphasizing compliance-ready architecture with built-in AML and identity verification. Multi-authorization workflows ensure institutional-grade control over asset movements—a critical selling point for risk-averse adopters.
